Godremamog Mill

There are four fully central heated self-contained apartments, each with lounge/dining room, two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom; they are all equipped to a high standard - each apartment sleeps up to four people comfortably.

The apartments lounge/dining room have a comfortable three-piece suite, a wood effect stove, satellite tv with all the sky 'freeview' channels, a DVD/video player, dining table and chairs. There is a double bedroom with the luxury of a Four Poster bed and a twin bedroom with two full size single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped including a full sized electric cooker, microwave, toaster, slimline dishwasher and fridge as well as pots, pans, cutlery and crockery for your stay. The bathroom is fully fitted with a shower over the bath.

From your apartment windows you will see abundant wildlife on the river: The heron is often seen standing on the river bank watching the fish. See the buzzards soar above the mill, and the families of wagtails and dippers that live in the stone wall on the river and, if you are lucky, spot the kingfisher.

If you enjoy fishing have a pleasurable few hours fishing by the mill.

If you wish to spend a day away from the mill try pony trekking at the local Riding Centre or play golf at Newport. For the young, meet a wide variety of animals at nearby Folly Farm or enjoy a day out at Oakwood Theme Park or Heatherton Sports Park. If you wish to go on a boat trip take a coastal voyage from New Quay or a canoe trips on the River Teifi, then return to the mill and relax by the river.

The Cathedral nestling in the valley of the River Alun alongside the impressive ruins of the Bishops Palace is undoubtedly one of the loveliest settings in Wales. A wonderful ambience pervades the entire area which is quite unique. The city bustles during the summer months. There are numerous places to eat and drink. Galleries and interesting shops proliferate. Thousand Island Expeditions, Voyages of Discovery and Aquaphobia offer exhilarating and exciting trips around Ramsey Island. It's a great way to see the local wildlife at close quarters.

Also surrounded by a huge and varied choice of artists, photographers, craftmakers, musicians, writers, choreographers, dramatists, filmakers and many more in the creative line. Artists and others have set up businesses accross the county enabling them to create, market and tour their work. Some open up their studios and workplaces, enabling tourists and visitors to observe the artist at work and buy work directly from the artist.
