Those interested in the past will enjoy exploring Iron Age forts, hut circles and burial chambers. Great for a walking or beach holiday. Fishing and pony trekking are also nearby.

From the clifftops overlooking Caldey Island, the coastal path and Church Doors beach will no doubt beckon. But it’s the children who will be in their element here. Take up surfing, kayaking, climbing and diving whilst in this part of Pembrokeshire. Visit Oakwood, Wales’s largest theme park, or for open spaces and a dose of Welsh history, try Heatherton Country Park, Wedlock Dinosaur Park, or Manorbier, Pembroke and Carew Castles. Even staying in this hostel, a futuristic former Ministry of Defence building is an adventure!

23.00 hrs YHA Broad Haven is a spacious, modern, single storey building, set in its own grounds just 100m from the stunning Blue Flag beaches of St Brides Bay. There are plenty of activities nearby to keep you occupied which can be arranged from here. Learn to ride a horse, go climbing or abseiling on spectacular cliffs and enjoy sea kayaking, surfing, canoeing, windsurfing or scuba diving. Alternatively, free family activites are available from reception and there is a games area with video games, pool table and internet access.
