Members can save hundreds of £££s by applying for Brown and White Tourism Sign grants, administered by Pembrokeshire Tourism on behalf of the Wales Tourist Board. The grants, worth up to 50 per cent off the cost of the signs, are only available to PT members, and are subject to funds being available from Wales Tourist Board.

As a member of Pembrokeshire Tourism, you can apply for a grant towards the costs of Brown Tourism Signs. The grant will be up to 50% of the cost of the signs (less a grant administration charge of £50). Any Grants awarded are subject to sufficient grant funds being available. When you take up a brown tourism sign grant, you commit to remain a member of Pembrokeshire Tourism for a minimum of two years.

1. Apply for the Brown Tourism Signs using the application forms supplied by Pembrokeshire County Council.

2. Inform Pembrokeshire Tourism that you are applying for Brown Tourism sign by phone, fax or email.

3. If your application for signs is approved, the Council will provide you with an estimate of the costings involved for the supply and erection of the proposed signs and also Sign Designs and Locations Plan. When you receive the estimate and Sign Designs and Locations Plan, complete the form below, detach and send to the address shown to apply for the sign grant. NB when you send the form; include a copy of the Council’s estimate of the costings involved for the supply and erection of the proposed signs and also a copy of the Sign Designs and Locations Plans.

4. Pembrokeshire Tourism will process your application and, if approved, will write to you with a Grant Offer Letter (confirmation of the grant sum available to you) detailing the process you must follow after your signs have been supplied and erected, in order to receive the grant allotted to you. (This will normally be up to 50% of costs of supply and erection of the signs, up to a total grant value of £500 (less a £50 administration fee).
